Blair Shunk is Co-Founder of The IntiSolutions Group. The IntiSolutions Group is a recruiting company that has been sourcing and placing high performing contractors and staff for some of Canada’s leading companies since 2009.

Blair's career spans over 25 years in the Calgary Oil and Gas business community, working for some of the most respected companies in Canada.

Blair’s career shows a continuous progression from folding blueprints as a summer student at The Alberta Gas Trunkline, (renamed The NOVA Gas Transmission Company, now part of TransCanada Pipelines), running a printing press, natural gas transmission field operations (compression stations, meter stations, and pipeline operations), materials management, project administration, compression engineering projects and Information Technology.

Before working for IntiSolutions, Blair was at Encana as an IT Project Manager for Corporate Communications. Blair holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the University of Lethbridge.

 

Since 2005, Blair has been the Race Director of the Banff Jasper Relay, a foot race that is held in support of The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. In addition to being the biggest annual social event in the town of Jasper, with an estimated 750 people attending the post race party, The Banff Jasper Relay has raised over $350,000 for The Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada since 2005. Blair was born and raised in Toronto; and moved to Calgary as a teenager shortly after his first week of skiing in the Rocky Mountains. He and his wife Deborah have two children, Jennifer and Brad. They are also proud grandparents to Tyler, Zoe, and James.
